Armin Sešek completed his violin studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade under the tutelage of Professor Aleksandar Pavlović. Following twelve years of performing with the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, he turned to teaching. Sešek taught violin at the “Stanković” High School in Belgrade and at a school for exceptionally gifted children in Ćuprija. In 1992, he relocated to Slovenia, where he has been teaching violin at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet in Ljubljana. He has conducted seminars for teachers and students in various cities, including Ljubljana, Zagreb, Osijek, Dubrovnik, Novo Mesto, Trbovlje, Grosuplje, Krško, Koper, Postojna, Freising, Carlow, Split, Makarska, Trieste, and Grožnjan. Sešek’s students have garnered a total of 273 awards at national and international competitions, including 111 first prizes, 25 absolute victories, and 8 laureate titles. Many of his former students are pursuing studies at prestigious European and worldwide universities and are members of numerous professional ensembles. In recognition of his outstanding pedagogical achievements, he has been honored with the Škerjanc Award.
